Data centre construction can require repeat quantities of accurately finished panels, cabinets, enclosures, frames, rails, brackets, cable-management parts, aisle-containment components, security dividers and custom fabricated metalwork. Powder coating provides a durable, uniform finish for many aluminum and steel components used throughout these systems.
Huyck’s automated line supports compatible production-volume parts, while the custom/manual line handles specialized shapes, smaller batches and colour variations. Each part family is reviewed for substrate, dimensions, weight, geometry, grounding, recesses, masking and end-use requirements before production.
CONSISTENT FINISHES FOR MULTI-PHASE PRODUCTION PROGRAMS
Projects delivered over several phases need strong specification and revision control. Use unique part numbers, current drawings, the powder manufacturer and product code, approved colour and gloss, required thickness or performance criteria, cosmetic zones, hanging locations and packaging instructions.
Broad flat panels and smooth finishes can reveal scratches, weld marks, grinding patterns and dents in the incoming metal. Define visible surfaces and supply a substrate suitable for the required cosmetic standard. First-article approval can establish a shared reference before full production or repeat releases.
