Huyck offers automated powder coating for high-volume production and custom/manual coating for specialized parts, smaller runs, and frequent colour changes. With over 70 colours stocked, we deliver flexible, consistent finishing tailored to each customer’s specifications.

Powder coatings are available in a wide range of colours, gloss levels, textures and performance grades. As an approved applicator for TIGER Drylac, IGP, Protech and IFS Coatings, Huyck also supports architectural projects requiring AAMA 2603, 2604 and 2605 coating systems.
FIVE-STAGE PRETREATMENT
Huyck coats parts up to 26 feet long, including large aluminum profiles and components. Based in Surrey, we have served industrial customers across British Columbia and Western Canada since 2008.
WIDE RANGE OF COMPONENTS
A durable powder-coated finish starts with proper surface preparation. Huyck uses a five-stage immersion pretreatment system to prepare aluminum components, including recesses, channels and complex areas, for improved adhesion and corrosion resistance.
AUTOMATED PLUS CUSTOM FLEXIBILITY
Huyck coats aluminum extrusions, fabricated steel, architectural products, enclosures, railings, data centre components and other industrial parts. Each project is reviewed for its material, dimensions, geometry and finish requirements.
DOCUMENTED QUALITY REQUIREMENTS
Defined colour, finish, masking, hanging and packaging requirements help maintain consistency. Production checks and experienced operators support reliable results from the first part to the last.
AUTOMATED POWDER COATING FOR MANUFACTURERS AND REPEAT PARTS
When large quantities of finished parts must meet the same colour, appearance and performance requirements, the coating process must be efficient and controlled. Huyck’s automated line is designed for compatible aluminum and metal components with recurring specifications and predictable loading.
Automation can improve production flow and application consistency, but volume is only one consideration. Geometry, size, weight, recesses, colour, racking density, masking and cosmetic requirements all influence the correct production route. Huyck reviews each part family before assigning it to the automated or custom line.
BUILDING A RELIABLE HIGH-VOLUME
COATING PROGRAM
Strong production programs begin with clear specifications. Provide current drawings, part numbers, metal type, powder manufacturer and product code, colour, gloss, texture, cosmetic surfaces, hanging points, masking and packaging instructions. Forecast volumes and order frequency also help us plan capacity and compatible colour runs.
For new or appearance-critical components, a first article or pre-production sample can establish a shared reference before full production. Once approved, documented loading methods and work instructions help maintain the intended result across repeat orders.
